rieshy
BTW, frozen cherries also mix well into plain yogurt with sliced bannanas.
Mom-ninja.
I'll have to look for frozen tart cherries. I'm not a cherry fan, I must admit. I like fresh bing cherries though. The weights do have a stand but you buy that separately.
Snickerdoodle
I like dried tart cherries, but they're expensive. If you mix with cashews, coconut flakes and super dark chocolate, it's a little piece of heaven.
Negin
About to do some Blogilates videos from You Tube. Thinking of adding some wrist weights when I hill hike. Anyone use these? I often use them when rebounding. Negin, I bought a body brush for dry brushing. I plan to read up more on it today. I've been wanting/thinking about doing it for a while, ever since my Ayurvedic cleanse. I've been using oil each morning, in kind of a quick self-message (more like rub down, but still....). I like using oil much better than moisturizer. It works better, and my heals are now so soft. Kim, I body brush most mornings before putting on my workout clothes. Thanks for the reminder re: self-massage with oil. I keep meaning to start doing that also. I sometimes do my stomach, but I need to work on my legs also. I envy you for dong the Ayurvedic cleanse. I'm not at a point in my life for committing to any sort of thing like that. I hope to get there someday. Life has been crazy for the past few years. Ayurveda always fascinates me. VaKim
I did my dumbbell workout yesterday morning, and then watched a show while doing WATP moves. Only got in 6000 steps for the day though. Was icky weather. Gonna have to figure out a plan before it is constant icky weather.
Mom-ninja.
Day 5 done. This challenge was fun. Now, I need to decide what to do next. Maybe I'll give my dusty DVDs a whirl. I'm so addicted to FB that I neglect my DVD collection. I've been doing a lot of HIIT and weights lately so maybe I'll do a phase of Barre. What cardio goes well with Barre?
hornblower
Still have a weird spasmy thing happening in the lower back but went to Zumba this morning anyway. Had to tone down some of the wiggle but I needed to sweat! Going to do some yoga this afternoon to continue working on healing my back/hip. shukriyya
Rainy and cold here today. Hill hike should be interesting. Time to break out the cold weather gear.
Kim in Appalachia
I have a head cold, so I took it a bit more slowly this morning with my kettlebell workout, but it went well. I followed it up with some gentle yoga. My dd and I enjoyed the yoga last night, and we plan on doing more together. :) Negin, there is some stuff from Ayurveda I like, other stuff that doesn't work for me, but I do find it fascinating. rieshy
Open Mat at martial arts. It wasn't much of a workout- mostly technique. I really really want/need to go for a run. I'm too hyper for my own good but I have too many errands to run.
Slache
Yesterday I spent the morning reading about 1/5 of TWTM and then I couldn't move so I did nothing. Today I did the preliminary test for the 100 push up challenge. Let's not discuss the results. Also, Insanity 9/60.
