Well, sure, but WHAT ABOUT THE PLEATS? A spray bottle and bleach isn't going to get her the essential pleats. Though maybe if they were baggy but pleatless, you could top them with a hot pink shaker-style sweater, and no one would know there were no pleats under there. Or, you could just focus on gigantic hair and hope that keeps anyone from looking at the jeans. Whose idea was it to put pleats in denim anyway?
