busymama7
Not. Your. Kids. If they were endangering your kids or passerbys fine. But please leave them alone. eta: if it is illegal to ride on the street then maybe I could see turning them in. But I still wouldn't. Garga
If it's illegal make the call.
mathmarm
Has it ever happened before? How old are the kids that are being ridden around?
athomeontheprairie
where we live, absolutely not. it's honestly a common occurrence, despite being illegal. then again in town there aren't cops, anyway. if you live on a busy road, in a the town that doesn't see this kind of traffic, maybe. shinyhappypeople
Has it ever happened before? How old are the kids that are being ridden around? The kids are 3, 5, and 8. Obviously they're not all riding at the same time. It's gotten really quiet, so I'm hoping they're parking their quad and calling it a night and all my angst was for naught. :) I
Gil
I would turn on the porch light so that they have more light! I might not be the most responsible parent ever though since I have let the boys ride on motorcycles multiple times and in cars without car-seats ever since they were 3! AmandaVT
people do that all the time here - I wouldn't call on that.
Mandylubug
You must not live in GA ;) that behavior would be considered normal even if it is illegal.
ChristusG
No, I wouldn't....Unless it were effecting my family. It may be stupid and illegal, but it's on their shoulders if something happens.
jenn-
If it had just been the kids riding around, then maybe I would have said yes. Unfortunately parents do stupid stuff, and this didn't seem to be one of those times the police should have been involved.
peachskittles
Kids and quads? Lemme guess, a parent decided to tie a plastic sled to their quad and are driving their children around town on it? I see it all the time here. One dad had two sleds tied to his quad. One of his kids almost fell off with the way it drifted when he turned a corner. I think I've even seen a snowmobile with a sled attached to it. I never call about things like that. I panic quietly in my home, but no, I never call. Around here parents are so much more free with their children. And the police? HA! They are unicorns around here. If you find one in this town, you stop and take pictures. :p
Χάων
I see it all the time at my grandmas house and here by the age of 3 the kids would have a power wheel version of their own and move up from that point on. My point of view is that the family is doing something together and that is wonderful!
