JustEm
board games and just hanging out at home! My dh may invite some friends over to play board games with us last minute, he usually does that, but who knows if they'll come or not. I never leave the house New Years Eve night. elegantlion
We're making hot pretzels (from a box), making popcorn and fried potatoes. Then we will watch Iron Man 3.

OneStepAtATime
Just got the Firefly board game for Christmas so we are going to the movies first (kids are BEGGING to see Frozen and we just haven't done it yet) then home to try and figure out how to play Firefly (while watching an episode or 3....?) Joyofsixreboot
Dh and I are going to friends, my 15 and 10 yo are going to a theater party, my 19&18 yo are playing Pathfinder with friends and 21 yo is going out. That leaves 12 yo as the lucky winner to babysit 6yo. I think he plans video games, snacks and letting 6 yo watch Nick until she falls asleep. Shamzanne
All my plans are bust. I was supposed to be attending the birth of my first nephew as I type this. Tonight I was planning to cohost a long anticipated murder-mystery taco and margarita night with some friends. But we're sick. I'm trying to find things to be cheery about and maybe watching a few episodes of Firefly will help!

RoughCollie
DD invited some of her friends over, but with the snow, the drunks on the road, and high possibility of cars getting stuck in our driveway, it looks like her plans will be canceled. Otherwise, we don't celebrate New Year's Eve. We are going to a party tomorrow afternoon, though.
kewb
Keeping it local with a couple of other families. Sometimes I do miss when we did not know anyone in town and we would bring in chinese, be in jammies by 8pm and I was asleep before midnight.
