PachiSusan
Due to the generosity and love of a wonderful WTM Friend, I have the White 1st Edition Kingfisher in my hand. I am going to be very excitedly writing lesson plans. I have the 3rd edition Kingfisher from the library and I am going to compare it, but already I don't actually see them as much of the same book at all, but I just got the one and I'm browsing now. The text is similar, but as people have said, the white seems to have more detail.

PachiSusan
Well, so far I can see that it's more similar than I thought at first. The information is basically the same, but it's been reworded at times and it's been put more into bullet points in the newer edition. Hunter
I think the only people that prefer the old edition are those that are trying to teach outlining with it. Are you going to teach outlining this year, with your history texts?

Tammyla
:hurray: I love my very old Kingfisher, and I don't think I'll ever part with it unless someone can appreciate it as much as I have.
Hunter
I may have to check out the new edition. I like concise and bulleted.
warneral
I have two copies so that each kid can outline from it. One smells like a basement lol. Have fun! I'm rereading TWTM right now for logic stage history.
