Soror
Dh bought for himself what I'd planned for his b-day so I'm in a rush trying to figure out something out here. He needs and likes t-shirts so I thought perhaps I'd buy him a Linux one from Cafe Press. I want to make sure I don't buy anything w/ innuendo or such though. I'm sure he wouldn't mind a dig at Microsoft either but nothing too obnoxious like Microsoft sucks. I don't know what all of these mean however- can anyone help me? Suggestions? Here are some I was looking at: http://www.cafepress...9871/roo_tshirt http://www.cafepress...sh-black_tshirt http://www.cafepress...services_tshirt http://www.cafepress...otingbmp_tshirt (I think he would like this one but aesthetically it is a bit ugly) http://www.cafepress.../w-saves_tshirt http://www.cafepress...dev-shir_tshirt Oh, and as to an idea of his humor he just bought 2 shirts, one says- God Save the Queen -(he is a beekeeper) and another that says- http://www.cafepress.com/mf/12377600/theres-no-place-like-12700-black_tshirt - he thinks these are both hilarious. Peach
I found the "There's No Place Like 127.0.0.1" shirt hilarious (as did hubby). I think out of those the Troubleshooting shirt is my favorite. There are many days I agree with this :)
Alessandra
I wish someone would explain these. (I understood the Linux one.)

Moxie
My comic book geek DH has lots of shirts from We Love Fine. They take awhile to ship so order early! http://www.welovefine.com/
Dana
I like this one best of the ones you linked. If he watches IT Crowd, there's this, this, or this.
dbmamaz
i bought this one for my husband, he seemed mildly amused - i did have to explain it to him, but then he understood - but not sure linux uses the same ascii codes? we arent linux geeks, i havent even ever used or studied it at ALL. actually this is the one he liked the most - he plays cardboard war games . .. . Soror
OH, too many good ones. I looked at the binary dad, considered the IT crowd one, ended up w/ "There are 10 kind of people in the world" and "rock, paper, lizard, spock(or whatever it is)" from Big Bang. Hopefully he likes them.
kewb
My comic book geek DH has lots of shirts from We Love Fine. They take awhile to ship so order early! http://www.welovefine.com/ This is a good one and I am totally not biased because some of my dh's t-shirt designs have been printed by them. We are also fans of www.riptapparel.com and www.teefury.com And if he is larger www.freshbrewedtee.com They specialize in big and tall and I believe have just started offering all adult sizes. gardenmom5
I found the "There's No Place Like 127.0.0.1" shirt hilarious (as did hubby). that's a good one. If 1ds hadn't previously told me what it meant (he was actually criticizing a TV show), I wouldn't have gotten it. i bought this onefor my husband, he seemed mildly amused - i did have to explain it to him, OH, too many good ones. I looked at the binary dad, considered the IT crowd one, ended up w/ "There are 10 kind of people in the world" 2ds loves binary. I think he has that "10 kinds of people" - or maybe he just talks about wanting it . . . . .
I.Dup.
If he likes Star Wars, my husband found one that he loved that I got him for his birthday from Think Geek. It says "Han Shot First" I guess referring to some Star Wars episode or something. lol
dbmamaz
oh, yeah, I got the '10 kinds of people' too - it was actually his signature years ago . . .
mathmarm
The typo on the trouble shooting shirt kind of bothers me, and I think it spoils the joke a little. On every keyboard I use, its <CRTL> not <CNTL>. I can't speak for every keyboard, but I've never noticed one that said CNTL for control.
