Alessandra
Practically all the ones available at RR, lol. Math, geography, science, presidents, etc. -- but I see from here that I am missing the periodic table.... And I used to make our own ones with pictures from an artist we were studying. Btw, we also have lots of posters.
Walking-Iris
Just a world map one. Which since I decided to laminate our wall maps, it's really useless to us. Do real cloth placemats count? I've been collecting them since I am going to focus on a Montessori approach with my youngest.

kubiac
Thanks for the ideas gang. We just have one--a world map mat--but we've been having lots of fun with it and was wondering what else we could do. Scene from my house, at dinner time: "Mom, where should I put this cob? I want more corn." "Can you put the cob on...Australia? Yes! That's Australia!" We're big nerds. :)
sarahj
DD3 has an alphabet placemat and DD5 has a map of the U.S. She enjoys showing off her knowledge of U.S. geography by saying things like: "Mama, did you know there is an island of dried cranberries off the coast of Florida?"
