tammyw
Sadly I haven't been reading a lot of "adult" books this year, but want to get on track. Also, I can put some on my Christmas list. Or has there already been a thread like this?

Brilliant
My favorite book this year was The Light Between Oceans. It was suspenseful & poignant at the same time. I actually bought it for my Kindle - I almost never buy books since I'm willing to wait for them at the library.
Ali in OR
The one I enjoyed reading the most was The Night Circus. I bought two copies to give as Christmas gifts too.

Chocolate Rose
A couple of my favorites this year have been: 11/22/63 by Stephen King (I LOVE King, but know that many don't. This wasn't his normal creepy kind of book, it's a time travel based book) Blackout by Mira Grant (3rd book in the Newsflesh Trilogy) Divergent by Veronica Roth (I just bought the 2nd book in this series, Insurgent, but haven't started it yet) Little Bee by Chris Cleave (A Nigerian orphan's life intertwined with a British journalist couple's life) Before I Go To Sleep by SJ Watson (A woman loses her memory every time she goes to sleep, and the book has some twists)
