I'm *much* more miserable than that phrase suggests.

 

Anyway, I'm just whining.

I think I have taken to sweating it out. Hoping I get some sleep tonight!

I slept well until about 2:30. Not being active (well, I think coughing like crazy should be considered active) is probably not helping me on the sleep front. But no fever, cough is productive, still sweating like crazy. I've never been so thankful for a fast-acting shot. Hopefully the rest of the medication will help me knock this out FAST.

Pamela, last February, Moose, Zee, and my dh all had pneumonia in their left lungs. Zee ended up in the hospital, Moose I had to take to get two shots in the leg (ouch!), and dh got antibiotics from the urgent care.

 

It was a miserable few weeks, for sure.

Pneumonia is miserable. I'm so sorry you're dealing with it.

Make sure you let yourself rest a lot - otherwise it drags on longer or gets worse. And any combination of the words "extensive" and "pneumonia" sound rotten and should be taken very seriously.

If you don't take care of yourself at home, they'll make you rest in the hospital - and we all know how pleasant that can be, lol.
