Laura in CA
for next year's AP Chem class. This seems way early ... but I wanted to give folks on this board a heads-up, since it's here that I first heard rave reviews of Mr Moskaluk's chemistry classes! :001_smile: ~Laura Edited February 21, 2012 by Laura in CA

Gwen in VA
Just wanted to give another rave review. I've now had three kids take the class, and I still think it's the best online AP chemistry class possible!
Laura in CA
You're welcome! And thanks, Gwen! I'm so excited my son is finally going to take this course. We even know a local kid who took this class and loved it. BTW for those who don't know, ChemAdvantage is the AP chemistry course affiliated with Pennsylvania Homeschoolers. April in CA
Another rave review! DS got a 5 on the AP Chem exam after taking this class. Lots of work, but lots of reward for the effort! DS took this course after doing a year of chem with Apologia (both texts) and the DIVE cd - excellent prep for AP chem. I hope some more WTM kids can enjoy the class next year. Blessings, April
angela in ohio
I've been looking at this course for a few weeks. My dd did DIVE with BJU, and I am trying to decide between just having her do a few more labs (she did many of the AP labs) and self-study OR do this course. It is a lot of money, and I'm not sure about the whole micro chemistry set thing. And for a third of the price, she can just take College Chem at the community college, though I doubt it would be as rigorous as AP.
plansrme
My daughter is also in this right now. Be prepared for a serious time commitment, but she has had a great experience. I can't wait to see how she does on the exam but will be shocked if it isn't a 5. Terri

Laura in CA
PSA = Public Service Announcement. Oh, sorry! I think learned about "PSA" for public service announcement from these boards, in fact! In California it also (in homeschooling circles) stands for private-school affidavit (what you file with the Department of Education to homeschool independently -- i.e., as a private school). :001_smile:
