Happy
Mine has been chosen for me: Stomp out breast cancer. With big boots. Permanently. Personally. I still haven't quite wrapped my mind around my diagnosis. Sigh. One of my favorite mottos is 'Toughen up, Buttercup." I'm using that one a lot lately, too. Lucy in Australia
I still haven't quite wrapped my mind around my diagnosis. Sigh. I'm so sorry you're going through this. One of my best friends was diagnosed in July. Fortunately they caught it early and she has made a complete recovery. I'm praying the same for you :grouphug: I really like "Toughen up, Buttercup" . Much prettier than mine. :D
lovemykids
These are all awesome!! How do you plan to keep yourself on track? Analyze, acknowledge, accept that I am responsible for my actions, and then work on things honestly, with my eyes wide open. Prayer helps as well, or tapping into ones higher power. Then continually evaluate progress made. I am thinking of writing more than just lists and notes (which do work wonders), but jotting down my feelings as well (for harder issues such as forgiveness etc.). PeacefulChaos
I hadn't given a thought to it. I never do that sort of thing at the new year, BUT some of yours I really liked!!! Same as all the time: More Others. Less Self. More Joyful. Less Anxious. More Experiences. Less Stuff. It's a constant work in progress.... Loved yours, bolded in particular!!! Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels!!!! I try to remind myself of that one regularly. ;) "Keep Calm and Carry On" When I saw the thread title, this is the first thing I thought! Get off the WTM boards. :glare: :iagree:and second that motion. Too much time spent here or elsewhere on the internet gobbles precious time. Motto: Master time so it doesn't master me. I like that. Master time. Be thankful.1 Thessalonians 5:17-19pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is Gods will for you in Christ Jesus. :iagree:
Michelle My Bell
Mine is "Whatever it takes, I can get through it". and "It's Your Choice" (meaning it's my choice to make good decisions, or bad decisions and then live with the consequences.) Mine's pretty early, too. 'Toughen up, Buttercup' always brings a smile which helps my attitude. I even say it to my grown sons and they smile. Most of the time, anyway. I have no idea where I got it, but I'm glad I did.
