amy g.
I'm getting ready for the company party. I thought I could use some sparkly magnetic jewelry for a headband. My kids said, "um...no, mom" Does it look creative and festive, or just plain dumb?

simka2
You look very nice. So are they saying no to the headband in the pic?
reign
I think you look nice and festive! (off topic) How is it magnetic?

amy g.
Yes, they are saying the headband looks to young for me. Well, they didnt exactly use those words, but that is what they are implying. I so very rarely get dressed up. They are probably just in shock. tmulcahy
The headband is nice. I do think that your hair is gorgeous and it would look fabulous if you let it down.
butterflymommy
Love it! :001_smile:
amy g.
Thanks, guys. I'll try letting my hair completely down with no headband. I haven't had to cut in over a year, so it is pretty heavy on one side.
kewb
I like the headband.
curlylocks
I like the headband. :iagree: -- I think your hair looks beautiful.
simka2
Your hair is beautiful! Mine is really thick on one side which is why I decided to do a twisted half chigon over one side. Not hard to do. Twist as you put in side pony and pin the twist. No pony though and it is lose over one shoulder.
amy g.
Where are your pictures of your hair? I want to see. Miss Beautiful tried twisting up my hair, but it was too tight and made me look like a pin head.
amy g.
It is just a long strip of magnetic beads. You can use it for a necklace, bracelet, or headband. I think the target audience may be 8 year old girls, not 45 year old women. But then again, it is Christmas, after all, and I think people who can have fun are the most attractive. simka2
My phone is not cooperating! We are going to be blocks from one another. Too funny!
redsquirrel
No, not too young. It does look very nice for a holiday party. But, if complimented, do not tell people what it is. Just say thank you. Once you told me I could see why your kids thought it was too young. Your hair is beautiful. The bit of sparkle shows it off.
