where can I find junior sized sweatpants that are extra long

Recommended Posts

My 16 year old dd is about 5-10 with very long legs but she is only a size 1 or 3 so it is difficult to find clothing for her. The only jeans that fit her are American Eagle extra long. She is having surgery in about a month and won't be able to wear jeans for a few weeks. When she had her first surgery last year she was still at home so it didn't matter what the sweatpants looked like (too short, etc.).

She is at a private school now. She will already need to get special permission to wear sweatpants but there is no way she can wear jeans or regular pants. The sweatpants can't have writing on the back. I haven't been able to find any sweatpants that come in the long size. The regulars are way too short. Any suggestions?

Try american Eagle Outfitters ae.com

I am a size 0 and on the shorter side and appreciate that they have short, regular and long lengths. They are THE best fitting sweats ever.

I never bothered with teen depts -(she's 5'11").

if you must have skinny women's styles/colors/sizes, you can try tall girls - but, it is VERY pricey.

I have bought my daughter atheltic wear from REI, generally men's tall, etc. sometimes something will be available in misses. otherwise, we've found most places to be very hit and miss.

jcPenny.com has tall sizes online only. they do have atheltic wear reasonably priced, but most everything starts at a medium. if you look, there are smalls.
