I dropped my iphone in water

I think with any phone you should NOT turn it on to check on it. Some people dessicate using rice. I am far from an expert.

 

CHeck a few sources and see if you are supposed to remove the battery. For some reason I think so, but am not certain, so check first.

 

I'm sure someone here will have specifics for you.

Turn it off (or if it's already off, keep it off), remove the battery, and get it dry using one of the following methods described here (but I'd leave it for longer than the 24 hours recommended in the linked article if you can stand the wait):

(Rice also worked for my daughter's iPod nano after she accidentally ran it through the washing machine!)
