tntgoodwin Posted September 25, 2011 Author Share Posted September 25, 2011 Update From austins dad:Praise the good lord. They have removed the respirator and Austin is breathing well on his own. It is a big step, we still have a long way to go but at least we Are heading in the right direction. God is so good. We now have to wait to see how his swelling is and what our plan is from here. They just removed Austin's respirator! HE IS NOW BREATHING ON HIS OWN!!! Praise God for answered prayers! Please pray that AJ will continue to breathe on his own and make other progress as well! This time I'm crying happy tears! After removing Austin's breathing tube, he blew bubbles, wiggled, and squirmed when his Grammy (Cyndi) was talking to him! What a blessing it was for her to see his sweet little face! GOD IS AWESOME!!! Also, no tap was necessary for little AJ and he is doing many normal things like breathing on his own and maintaining O2 saturation and things like stretching and yawning!!!
