Jamauk
I can't tell you how many posts I've gone to "like" and then realized that while I spend as much time here, as I do on FB, this site is not, in fact, Facebook. Go figure!
Xuzi
Another message board I'm on has the option of "Thanking" posts (all users who "Thanked" the post are listed beneith the post). I really like it. It saves having to scroll through a bunch of "ITA!!!" posts.
LibraryLover
I keep reading things and I am so used to liking things on Facebook that I keep wanting to LIKE stuff here! I think I need help! That is eactly why some of us have high post counts. :D We post: "Nice!" "Adorable!" "Love that!" "Good Luck!" "Take care!" and the like. We really mean it, too. :)
catz
*LIKE* :D I would appreciate it too because I really don't have the time to respond as much as I would like to and I can often find a post or 2 that really sums up my thoughts. mykdsmomy
I was JUST thinking the same thing last night while reading through some threads! I kept wanting to "like" people's comments
lovelaughs_times_three
I agree that you can simply post a response with a smilie, but sometimes it would be nice to just quick-click a "like" button. It takes more time to respond, so I only respond when I am moved to really add something, or when I REALLY, REALLY agree. There are way too many times that I agree with someone or like what they say. It would take all night to respond to each and every one of them. (as you can see by my post count, I'm not shy about responding! :tongue_smilie:). I may not want to take the time to go through the adding-a-response process. It would be nice, though, to let that person know that I read their response and that I really liked what they had to say. I know I would LOVE to know that someone liked what I said. I'm guessing that it would happen more often if it was easy to show. (or maybe not! Maybe I'm just fooling myself!) Anyway....I love this forum just the way it is, but I agree with the OP....a like button or something similar - with its quick, one-step way to show agreement, would be nice!
