theYoungerMrsWarde
Awesome :001_smile: But I feel horribly guilty taking them for anything other than painting... :tongue_smilie: Maybe with colored paper? (Just a lot more work...)

Excelsior! Academy
Thanks for posting this. I did this a last year and need to pull them back out. The children loved them!
Halftime Hope
this would work well for older kids who are learning to conjugate verbs, etc., in a foreign language.... Hmmm, always looking for ways to liven things up.

Mama2Many4
Awesome :001_smile: But I feel horribly guilty taking them for anything other than painting... :tongue_smilie: Maybe with colored paper? (Just a lot more work...) My husband works for Walmart and he told me that they have pallets FULL of boxes of paint card samples. They have to throw out boxes all the time because the paint companies just keep sending them. They seriously WANT you to take them!
misidawnrn
I couldn't find any with the squares in them so I just got a bunch of single colored long ones and some with 6 hues on them. I made 2 sets today, one for us and one for my sister who doesn't homeschool but is teaching her 5yo to read. They are awesome! I am going to get paint chips to have around every time I go to the store from now on! I also got a bunch of greens to make leaves for a book tree for DD. We painted a tree on a piece of canvas that my sister gave us and I cut out leaves that DD can write her books on when she reads them. I will use a stick pin to pin them on. Here is a blog that used this idea for a family tree. http://www.smallgoodhearth.com/2011/05/paint-chip-family-tree-canvas.html
