Frustrated About This

Recommended Posts

Okay, so I applied for a class with PA Homeschoolers. I sent my application early, but my teacher emailed me today that her class is full. She gave me the option of being an audit student.

The only downside is that I have to grade my own stuff. Do my parents have to grade my own papers if I'm an audit student?

This really got me down...I was looking forward to FULLY enjoying this class.

Does she have a waiting list? I know that I enrolled my dd in one of their classes and it looks like we will be withdrawing her in a couple of weeks. (We are waiting for her acceptance into another program before I withdraw her.) You might contact the teacher and ask her if anyone withdraws if she will accept you as a full student.

Audit students pay half the price, and she has a waiting list.

Now I'm applying for AP U.S History. If this doesn't work, I don't know what I'm going to do for my history this fall.

The UCCP site has a couple US history options. Could you use that as a framework for study? Maybe a private school history teacher or local history grad student would be willing to go over your papers.
