My dd had Mrs. Richman last year and said it was "one of the best classes ever" and this is coming from someone who does not like history. I don't know much about the other teacher(s), but I'm sure they are all pretty good.

No, but we visited most of them. We ended up visiting one right after DD started the application process.

DD applied to her #1 choice ED and found out last month that she was accepted.. She had 4 other applications in process though - 1 middle and 3 safe - which she promptly withdrew.

To clarify, our counselor letter went in the counselor section, and our teacher recommendation was uploaded in the teacher section. They were two completely different letters. HTH

Yes, a hearty congratulations to you both! I too will feel a huge sense of relief once my dd's first app is submitted. We see the light at the end of the tunnel right now. :)

We purchased a Logitech headphone with mic from Best Buy and it seems to work just fine (no static, earphones are cushy and comfortable, good mic). My dd also uses it with a Macbook. On a side note, which online French class is your dd in this year? My dd is taking French III with Madame S. at TPS.

So far, we have had two smaller, private LOCs request course descriptions. We also had a meeting with a public university rep who said that course descriptions were very helpful in being to see/compare the rigor of the classes.

Sure. My younger dd's school has them take physics, chemistry, and biology in that order.
