tofugirl101
Okay, so I applied for a class with PA Homeschoolers. I sent my application early, but my teacher emailed me today that her class is full. She gave me the option of being an audit student. The only downside is that I have to grade my own stuff. Do my parents have to grade my own papers if I'm an audit student? This really got me down...I was looking forward to FULLY enjoying this class.
Starr
Yes, I think they would have to grade your papers. I would also ask if you will be able to post and communicate with the class. I'm sorry it is full.

8filltheheart
Does she have a waiting list? I know that I enrolled my dd in one of their classes and it looks like we will be withdrawing her in a couple of weeks. (We are waiting for her acceptance into another program before I withdraw her.) You might contact the teacher and ask her if anyone withdraws if she will accept you as a full student.
tofugirl101
Audit students pay half the price, and she has a waiting list. Now I'm applying for AP U.S History. If this doesn't work, I don't know what I'm going to do for my history this fall.
Nissi
Apart from PA Homeschoolers, Potter's School, Patrick Henry College, Keystone Highschool, etc. offer AP courses. HTH!
RENEEinVA
There's also Scholars Online.
5knights3maidens
Just a little note; I have heard that they are slow in responding sometimes. I believe this happened to my friend with her daughter's diploma a few years ago.

Maybe a private school history teacher or local history grad student would be willing to go over your papers.
