twinmomtn
I too am wondering where to get those cubes. I was thinking we needed more bookshelves but cubes would work much better. How expensive are they?

It says the blog is only open to invited readers or something like that. Are you able to post a pic on this thread? Can't wait to see! (if that's okay...) Nikki nicolebdouglas at gmail dot com I can't see it either. Our room is mostly done I need some stuff for the walls and I would love to paint but we rent and not sure if I want to put much more into 1 room. This is the 2nd dinning room. We have a dinning room off the kitchen as well so we eat in their. The school room is also the toy room. I wish I had more space and a bigger budget but We did this room with about $150 so that's not to bad for 4 kids here is a linky http://andhomeschool.blogspot.com/2011/06/2011-2012-school-room.html I would love more blog followers too so feel free to "follow" me :D

St. Theophan Academy
sorry - I answered this on the blog - forgot to answer it here! I got the cubes at a J*Ann craft store - collected them one at a time with coupons over a period of several months
St. Theophan Academy
the set of 2 was $25 with a coupon. The 3 cube stack was about $30. They come from J*Ann craft stores - and I used 40 and 50% off coupons to get them.

My luck is I'd go buy a few and come back later and they'd not have them anymore.:tongue_smilie:
dianachoate
I redid mine about a month ago. Our classroom off to check out yours now. I have a nature area and all too so I will love seeing how you did yours! Where did you get your workboxes? Diana

nukeswife
ok, I mentioned in a post somewhere above that I would post pictures once our new school table arrived and I don't think I ever did. Here's the post I wrote about my re-organization.

St. Theophan Academy
hmm, will have to check on the color - it is a porter paints, and took me forever to settle on because it went in 3 rooms, and the lighting was different in each, so finding a yellow that worked took about 5 trial swatches on the walls. I'll check on the color and let you know!
NittanyJen
Thanks to whomever posted ages ago with a picture of their current books in a dish drainer!! I bought a new one today and stuck their active books into it, and it looks very easy to access and maintain. Our up-and-coming books were pulled off of shelves throughout the house and placed into mid-size Sterilite containers by subject. Not super classy, but it's all in one room for the first time, easy to access, and easy to stash upstairs if dressy company comes.
