Girlsx3 Posted May 6, 2011 Share Posted May 6, 2011 Hi. I am new here as of today, although I have been a lurker for a while. I have 3 girls, ages 9, 7, and 3 and I stay at home with them. DH and I are both nurses, although he's the only one actually working at getting paid much for it. :) I do care for an elderly friend who has Alzheimer's; she comes to our house one day a week. My kids have been in public school up until now, and they have a few more weeks until we get to kiss public schooling goodbye (for now). Deciding to teach them at home has been a gradual decision, made with much prayer and consideration. Now that we've taken the plunge and decided to do it, I am very excited! The girls and DH are also excited. I just wanted to say hello and say that I'm glad to be here. I look forward to joining in your discussions and getting to know you.
