Kirch
We saw one in the backyard the other day. I don't know what it was--hopefully nothing sinister, but its head looked triangular, which kinda freaked me out. :scared: It definitely wasn't a rattlesnake or a copperhead, though. On the other hand, that's cool. I didn't know they came in green!! Hope you...enjoy snake season. OK, that last sentence seems off. :tongue_smilie:
Kalypso
My son stepped on a baby diamondback rattler about 4 weeks ago. Fortunately, he stepped on its head! That was our first snake of the year. Now, if I saw a mohave green I would have freaked out. I hope it didn't surprise you.

aggieamy
I'd decided to make a list of things that I don't like. 1. Snakes 2. Snakes 3. Snakes 4. Doing the laundry 5. Snakes and so on. Please keep those snakes in your own backyards and don't let them roam over to Kansas. Thank you in advance. :D
stephanier.1765
I was hanging out in the hammock a few days ago when a Black Racer went slithering across the yard. The worst part was when he stopped midway and lifted half his body off the ground to take a look around. He was high enough that he could have easily slipped into the hammock. I was a tad freaked to say the least even though my brain knew it was non-poisonous. Just the thought of it curling up with me was enough to keep me out of the hammock for the rest of the day.
