Rhonda in TX Posted March 19, 2011 Share Posted March 19, 2011 My sister is a high school special ed teacher. We've talked several times over the years about what the PS could offer my Aspie DS. This morning I was with her and a mutual friend. My sister told me that she had just told the friend that homeschooling DS was the best thing I could have ever done for him. She knows that I doubt myself at times and wanted me to know that she sees the benefits of what we have done. Even more so when we're dealing with extra needs. And how cool is that to hear from a ps teacher? Some are very supportive of homeschooling but others are VERY negative.
