We found a house - maybe...

Recommended Posts

We found the perfect house 5 minutes from dh's work. It is 4 bedroom, 2 bath, 3000 square feet, in a decent school district. It was recently completely remodeled and it looks great!

However, we don't know that we will be approved - the bad credit and lower (for now) income might cause a problem. The rent is higher than we wanted, but the 5 minute commute makes it work financially - to fit our "affordable" rent level, we would have to live far away and the "savings" would be eaten up in gas costs. The home is also less than 10 minutes from therapy/tutoring.

So, pray that we are approved!

That sounds perfect! I hope it works out. My dh checked the Wake Forest paper last week, but there was nothing in the price range you mentioned. The cheapest 3-BR listed was $1150, and WF would be a 30-40 min commute for your dh. There are some therapists in WF, but not necessarily the best ones for your kids. Our first ST and OT were both in WF, but we ended up going to Pediatric Possibilities in Raleigh for more intensive therapy.
