Janie Grace
So, there has been a strange occurrence at my house for some time and I am wanting to get to the bottom of it. My ds (7)'s pillowcase is constantly covered with white spots -- as if some white liquid had leaked onto it and dried. Is this drool? Why is it white? Toothpaste remnants in his mouth? That seems really strange, and why is he drooling so much? I mean, in one week his pillowcase is COVERED with these spots. Probably 25 or so, all over the surface of the pillowcase. This has been happening for several years, so it's not related to sickness or any other passing event. Has anyone had similar pillow spots??? Lolly
I would guess drool. Sounds like he is a sound sleeper. Have you tried using white sheets?
mom31257
Could it be reflux? If he sleeps with his mouth open, could he have nasal allergies or a deviated septum that makes it easier to breath that way?

Dana
My son sweats pretty heavily at night and with a dark pillowcase he gets sweat/salt stains. Sounds similar to what you're seeing.

KidsHappen
Drool. I keep a small hand towel on my pillow. It is absorbant and can be replaced everyday without having to change the pillowcase.
