Outdoorsy Type
My inlaws are wanting some ideas for Ds birthday in a few weeks. We bought him some lego sets and the new Donkey Kong game. I'm stumped about what else to buy for him that he would appreciate and use. With three boys we just have a lot of "stuff" already and I don't want to add to that. :tongue_smilie: Any ideas?:001_smile:
Guest lahmeh
Well, I just asked my ds who is 7 and he said he'd love a Fisher Price Big Foot. It's $85. but it's on the top of his Christmas list! https://www.target.com/dp/B00388DKXA :D
JudoMom
My boys love the Imagniext sets. A science kit? Keva Contraptions? Knex? An mp3 player? A microscope? Ds8 got the Duo Scope for Christmas last year (he was 7.5) and it has held up well.
HappyGrace
Snap Circuits-hands down, no doubt!
sbgrace
I'd do snap circuits if you don't already have those.
West Coast Mom
All our boys love walkie talkies. A good set will get a ton of mileage in a house full of boys. I'd avoid the "kid" ones because the quality is quite poor. We went with some from Motorolla at $40 a pair.
hsbaby
My ds7 loves all things Spygear or Spynet. He is getting the Spynet video watch ($50 range) for Christmas.
Outdoorsy Type
Great ideas! I'm actually buying the Snap Circuits Jr. for my 8.5yo nephew. I will probably pick up one for them, too.
