fairfarmhand
my dh was bush-hogging this Saturday and he saw a rabbit run. He chased it down and caught it. (my dh is fast) We've got it in a cage in the barn till my oldest dd comes home from her Grandma's house. We are feeding it fresh clover from the yard. We will turn it loose later this week. Haiku
Why? Just so your kids can watch it? The stress could kill the rabbit. Tara

OrganicAnn
I was afraid you were going to ask if you could tame it for a pet. We have lots of rabbits. If we caught one we would transport it to a nice new home in the local state park.
Melissa in Australia
If we caught one, we would eat it. rabbits are the number 1 feral animal introduced into Australia, followed closely by cats , foxed and cane toads.
