mommy123
High quality supplies, but reasonable prices... no particular supplies in mind, just wondering where I should start browsing! :)
Michelle My Bell
dick blick?
mommy123
dick blick? thanks! I've never heard of this store. Do you shop online or do you have one in your area? I didn't even think about shopping online! For anyone who's bought online... Are they good about packaging and shipping so that nothing gets broken? plain jane
I like Michaels when they have a 40% off coupon you can use. :D
Michelle My Bell
http://www.dickblick.com/ I have bought from them. Their prices are very good and their supply is huge. You kinda have to know what you are looking for. Artistic Pursuits Art Curriculum led me to them. They also recommend http://www.misterart.com/ . I don't have experience with them. nmoira
Dick Blick and a small local chain called Art Media.
Satori
I've ordered from both Dickblick and MisterArt, but for the items I've looked at, you need to purchase a $25 special membership from MisterArt to match the prices you get at Dickblick normally. I purchased my membership a year ago (expires in 3 days), and I must have saved a little, but from now on I'm just going straight to DickBlick.com Michaels also has downloadable 40% coupons (and occasionally 20-25% off your order), and they have a nice art supply section, so I go there as well, it's fun to actually look at things before I buy and take them home right away. Mallorie
discount school supplies.com is a good one, if you are on-line shopping. The key is to get on their email list, and a couple of times a year, they have huge savings, like 60%. They seem to have most everything. kalanamak
This is the question of the week. I use Blick, but Jerry's Artarama is rated well, too. Look back, dear, there are at least 3 other threads in the last week on this...
lisabelle
I've had good luck at my local community college during the summer months. They seem to put a lot of the art supplies on sale them.
lisak
They have art supplies on sale this week for 30% - 40% depending on what item you are looking for. Also, they run a 40% off coupon about every 2 weeks online. They have an online store also who offers pretty low shipping pretty regularly. http://www.hobbylobby.com Enjoy
