I know we're all on a budget, so I thought this might help others out too! You can receive $25 off your first order of $100 at veritas press. Just make an account here: https://veritaspress.com/store/?awraf=21CCE7415CB872C37CB31and it should be added to your first order. If you've been considering purchasing something from their bookstore or an online class, this is a good opportunity to save a little.

I have 3 middle grade kiddos, and they all are avid readers. I can't keep up with them, so there is no way I can read every book with them. I need suggestions for selecting literature and maybe a good source for reviews. Some books from the library have been horrible, but I never know which ones are worth reading. Thanks for your help!

I'm using Saxon with my middle school kids, and it is a good fit for our family. I have two younger kids that will eventually use Saxon as well, but what do I use to prepare them in K-3? I've heard Saxon K-3 was written by a different person and not that great for elementary. I've been trying to use it this year, and I don't really love it. What have you used that is a good fit for moving into Saxon?

What books do you recommend for kids ages 11-12? Besides the classics. I'm mostly wondering about more recent authors. What good literature can I put in their hands? They are avid readers (a boy and two girls). I'm having a hard time finding books worth reading in our library. Tell me where to look! LOL Thanks!

I'm wondering if anyone has been through the Omibus I Secondary course. How many lessons are in this course? Does it require you to put in essays or is everything multiple choice like in the grammar stage courses?
