juelle Posted June 6, 2010 Share Posted June 6, 2010 Praying. My best friend's dad died pretty suddenly when we were 16. It was the first time I'd ever dealt with such a loss close up. I learned so much at that time, and the experience was, strangely, a blessing later on in my life. She doesn't have a large peer group, and although she & EK are very best friends (since age 6/7), she now lives an hour's drive from us.
