MamaT Posted April 4, 2010 Share Posted April 4, 2010 My 22yo ds who is a Marine is having surgery right now. He is in Japan and I am here in NC. I am having major anxiety about him being without me. There was no possible way for me to be there and he assured me that the people in his unit were going to take good care of him, but I am still pacing the floor. He called me on the way to the hospital and I could tell he was anxious and afraid. The surgery should take about six hours and one of his friends is going to call me when it is over.
