Luanne
It seems like I am always VERY hungry late in the day. Due to health concerns, going to bed on an empty stomach is not an option. What are some good (filling) snacks I could eat right before going to bed?

T'smom
Well, I'm pregnant and eating this because I crave it- but it is sooooo good! I put bread on a cookie sheet and top with sliced tomatoes and a slice of cheddar cheese. Then I melt it in the oven- it is soooooo good! I've been eating it for either lunch or a bedtime snack every day for the last several weeks. Of course, it could just be a pregnancy craving! 6packofun
I'm in the PB camp, too. lol My standard is 1-2 pieces of peanut butter toast (whole wheat bread or a bread with more fiber!) and an apple.
Cheryl in NM
I had a doctor tell me that studies have shown that peanut butter on whole wheat is the best bedtime snack to stabilize your insulin controlling hormones. she also suggested 3 oz meat as an option. Mejane
I had a doctor tell me that studies have shown that peanut butter on whole wheat is the best bedtime snack to stabilize your insulin controlling hormones. Dr. Oz just talked about this on his show. A tablespoon or two of PB also controls cravings during the day.
