LibraryLover
My 10 yr old dd got a Swiss Army knife for Christmas and she was over the moon. She says it's the best present she's ever received. :D My dd loves to have her best friend sleep over. She is not a party person. We have family over for cake on the b'day, and the b'day child chooses the menu. It can be homemade or take out etc.
kalanamak
We'd also like to do something special with him that he hasn't done before or for dh and him to do together while I'm with his younger brothers, any suggestions? A trip to London.
Starr
Double digits! I'd go for the swiss army knife.
gingersmom
A day trip somewhere Medieval Times I don't give my kids gifts anymore. All their presents are now a trip somewhere. Nothing fancy, just 3-4 days to a city/state they always wanted to visit.
Jann in TX
We took my dd to swim the the beluga whales at SeaWorld on her 10th birthday... they do this year-round. She is now 19 and said it was her favorite birthday! We will probably do the same thing for youngest dd in a few years.
rwjx2khsmj
We do a special 10th birthday activity. Dd13 & I flew to Chicago and saw Wicked when she turned 10. Dd11 got to swim with the dolphins at the Indianapolis Zoo for her 10th birthday. Wonderful experiences with wonderful memories!
SonshineLearner
My husband would remind you that he needs something from Leatherman... a "Real" tool. (Boys don't own gadgets, they own tools:-) :-)
Tap
:iagree: My husband would remind you that he needs something from Leatherman... a "Real" tool. (Boys don't own gadgets, they own tools:-) :-) We bought ds a 2 knife set for a birthday and he uses it for many things. One was a small pocket knife and the other was a multi-too. He is a hobbyist and it has held up well to his use/abuse.
