SquirrellyMama
My reluctant 6 yr old reader read me a book today. He was soooo excited and couldn't wait to read it again. He went to his 4 yr old sister's room to read her the book. I could hear him reading when I went downstairs to switch laundry. My 4 yr old heard me and called to me. She said, "Mom, come here. Mom, come here." I went in and saw her in one of her chairs and I said, "Is Alex reading to you?" She said yes and then looked up at me and said, "Mom, I'm tied to the chair." I looked down and saw that she was indeed tied to the chair. :001_huh: I looked at my son and asked, "Alex, did you tie your sister to the chair so you could read to her?" He looked up guiltily at me. He tied her to the chair so she wouldn't leave. My children really do make me laugh all day. Ok, maybe every other day :001_smile:

flyingmommy
I wonder if that would work getting my oldest to do her math lesson? Nope, it wouldn't stop the huffing and puffing and rolling eyeballs. Never mind! J

MamaAkins
Oh my! Thank you for the laugh--I literally have tears streaming down my face...probably because I could totally see one of my children doing this to her younger sister!
