TraceyS/FL Posted June 26, 2009 Share Posted June 26, 2009 I'll have to put this on my calendar. My DD has a Genetic Growth Disorder, and her cognitive skills run behind. Not all girls with her condition have issues - so then you have to wonder how much of hers is caused by something else (she also had birth issues with Mecconium Aspiration). It's just one of those things i'm not sure we will ever know what caused what.... I can't help but feel bad for the girl, and man, it has got to be hard on her family. But i know that you take what you are given and make the most of it - i'm sure she is showered with love like my DD is by all of us. swellmomma Posted June 26, 2009 Share Posted June 26, 2009 I saw a program a few years back, one of those medical miracle type shows, about a girl that was a young teen but had the body/mind of an infant(around 6 months old), I wonder if this is the same family or a different one.
