I love teens. I don't think I would want to have to be in "control" of a large group of them, but in small groups and one-on-one they're fabulous. My daughter is 11 but mostly has older friends, and I'm loving this stage she's in. I'm completely looking forward to her teen years.

Well, you could tell them a stupid joke and time how long they laugh. I'm thinking a contraption could also be built that would detect the slight differences in a stoned vs. not stoned laugh. It's subtle. The instrument would have to be very sensitive. But it's possible. You could put Cheetos in front of them and see if they can resist. All sorts of fun tests! (said completely tongue-in-cheek :tongue_smilie:)

I'm pretty sure you have to start a new account in order to have a new profile. All the blogs created under your current account will share a profile. At least that's been my experience.

K12 has only recently partnered with Powerglide to offer foreign languages, so there are probably not many people yet who have used it through K12. I haven't used it, so I can't comment specifically. But I bet if you start a new thread asking about Powerglide Spanish you'll get a lot more responses, since it's been around for quite a while.

I think a lot of times, if it's going to get removed, it will be soon enough that you'll notice it before it's had time to slide off the page. Another way someone might know even if it had already slid below the top five would be if they kept track of their total points, and those points increased without any new positive rep.

None of mine has ever vanished, but only one did I consider completely undeserved. I'm not sure why someone would be reading a thread about rep and then get irritated that someone in that thread was talking about it, but whatever. It clearly hasn't deterred me. :D
