Good Morning!! COFFEE!!!☕ï¸â˜•ï¸â˜•ï¸â˜•ï¸â˜•ï¸â˜•ï¸â˜•ï¸ It's Saturday and I didn't sleep well, than then woke up @ the regular time and couldn't fall back to sleep.😩😩😩 why?? I ask you, Why??

I told DH he was taking me out to dinner. We haven't been out in ages. The kids will have pizza and the electronic babysitter. We're just going to this Chinese restaurant in town. Although I'm tempted to go to our favorite Mexican restaurant. But we always go there. But I love Mexican food. Why am I like this? I swear, I drive myself crazy!!

Which is much better for a person than Reese's Peanut butter eggs, that's for sure.

I know. I know this. But then I get all shook up because I go places like that high school orientation and I talk with my friends who have kids who are planning for AP Biology and Calculus and Trig and sometimes I think I'm just kind of plodding along and not doing much of anything. I mean, we do the curriculum, but.... and honestly, I don't think this kid will even go to b&m high school. Right now the penciled-in plan is for him to homeschool through high school and then go the junior college route and figure it out from there.

Ok, on a more serious note.... on a more educational note....8th grade history. I'm not making any decisions in the near future, but I've been mulling and mulling, looked at curriculum, looked on Cathy Duffy's website. This child struggles in school. I have to be on him every step of the way. I mean every!! He is discouraged academically, but it's because I think he's doing well, ease up the monitoring a bit and then I find out that he's been cheating. And where I thought we'd been making progress... It's like 1 step forward and 2 steps back with him. Anyhow, we'd been doing Notgrass Adam to Us for World History, and even though I love it, and had planned on going on to the US History Curriculum for him next year...it isn't very rigorous. And maybe rigorous isn't for him. Maybe I just need to teach him where he's at. I mean, I know I do, that's why we homeschool, but I'd like to challenge him more... I'm just frustrated. I do want something with US History/government for next year, though, I know that.

So, has anyone heard of the International Princess Protecion Program? The IPPP? Me either. Until my kids started watching this show. Well, apparently they are currently providing protection to 29 princess worldwide. Their head lady has a strong Russian accent. Sounds a little fishy to me.

You know what else I found in my Awana bag? A Reese's peanut butter egg. Oh joy!!

And after all that post-padding...... Critter got the Booya/h!! Glad your back doesn't hurt and yes, the male-folk do need to make the pancakes!

I found some chocolate. Whew! Wednesday night was "Thank Your Leader Night" at Awana. Candy, chocolate chip oatmeal cookies. I have awesome girls!!

Does anyone else have kids who use "butt" as an adjective? As in, "I don't like that. It's butt."

I need to go do history with the kids. But I am craving chocolate. I'm having a problem here!!
