  1. Not hijacking. Just an teeny tiny question for Plain Jane... Where can I find the lapbook CDs? Thanks!!! :001_smile:
  2. YAY!!!! I've been away from the boards for a while, and was thrilled to find all these responses!!! To clarify-Yes 5 to 10 a week, but sending them all at once is ok too. The 5-10 amount was set mostly for $$ budgeting purposes. Also, Lisa-replied to your pm! Thanks ladies!!! So fun!!!
  3. We are going to be using this book for our letter of the week. Our library has a copy that I looked through a couple of weeks ago. It has all kinds of cool activities, reproducibles, and ideas for each letter. It also has phonics activites for K-5. I bought a spiral bound copy from Amazon to make photocoping easier.
  4. KristineinKS-I'll get it to you!! If you don't mind, just send me an email letting me know you didn't get it yet so I won't have to search through the list to find your email. :D Alicia and sandra in va-Would you two care to email me and let me know you can forward the list on? That way I'll have both of your email addresses available in case anyone else didn't get it. Thank you for offering to help! MamaT-thank you!! :D Chris in VA-no problem!! Thank you!! :D We have also sent some out and will send more this weekend. We have received one postcard so far. My boys were very excited! FUN!! Just in case anyone needs it again, my email is christielee7278@live.com.
  5. Just to check with everyone on how the exchange is going. My email account is giving me HUGE troubles...some never received the list of addresses I sent out. Let me know if you still haven't received it. I may have to find a way copy and paste it in a message to you if you haven't gotten it yet. Whew!! This is a lot more work than I anticipated. lol :tongue_smilie:
  6. hmm....it worked for me. My total was $31.54. I *thought* it hadn't worked because in the item line, it showed my total as $41.54. Then I read the small print and realized the item line doesn't reflect the discount. The confirmation email does show I only paid $31.54 for the set. I've been looking for a good deal on these. With the discount, it comes to $6.31 each. Thanks!!
  7. Biblioplan does. I'm not sure about the activity guide though. I *think* just the SOTW book.
  8. Instead of buying the cds, I think I'm going to just use the online pfd. http://www.livelylatin.com/site/store.htm ...or is it better to purchase the cds?
  9. This was one of my questions as well...that I forgot to ask earlier on another post!! So with LL, I wouldn't need to get a seperate sentence diagramming workbook for English?? We use Seton English 6 and will be using GWG with my younger son later.
  10. I'm considering this for next year. We did not like Prima Latina. I really need something fun and enjoyable for my oldest adhd/odd son. He really needs something that will grab and hold his attention. For those that bought the program, what do you think about it? Is the Big Book 1 a one year program? Thank you!! :bigear:
  11. Don't know if this will help, but here is a blog post I found about KISS. Well it seems none of the links work for me. lol Sorry. If not, maybe she has more info about it in other posts on her blog.
  12. I cannot find the other post about these two. Can someone help? Or anyone else have any thoughts? Thanks!!
  13. I have two of the TLP (Total Language Plus) guides already. I will check out the other post!!
  14. Can anyone compare these two? Any thoughts on them individually? Would I need the TM for the red and blue books? Thank you!! :001_smile:
  15. Tell me...what do you think about Diana Waring Ancient Civilizations and the Bible schedule? Thanks
  16. I'm thinking Biblioplan would be a bit much for my boys, although I personally LOVE what I've seen of it. Any other ideas for history that have more biblical ties than SOTW?? We will be studying ancient times. Thank you!!!
  17. Also just wanted to mention... If you're considering this for your youngest, The Cricket in Times Square guide is recommended as a good introduction to TLP.
  18. We are going to try TLP soon. I have two guides from the 5-6th grade list. My first thought was to rotate TLP with everything else I have for LA, but I'm thinking now I'm just going to use TLP and grammar (we use Seton English) together for a while and see how it goes. After the first guide or so, I'll know whether we need more or less supplements. I'm pretty sure we'll need some kind of writing program that TEACHES writing. Being that my oldest was in ps until this past year, his writing skills are sorely lacking. :glare:
  19. Our local library is having a Dr Suess birthday party. There will be storytime, games, and cake. You might check with your local library to see if anything is going on there.
  20. We like the Spinbrush as well. They do have a charger that can be purchased seperately or as a set.
  21. Have you looked into CM scripture memory system? We're going to use it.....as soon as I find the time to put it all together. :tongue_smilie:
  22. I failed to add the state and zip to the second address on the list. It's AR 72921. =) Sorry about that!!!
  23. I'm south of Fayetteville!! I know there are some groups in NWA. Which way are you from FV? There is a really good group in FS, if you're close enough!
