  1. Hi Dy! Try Microsoft Office's site for clip art. http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/clipart/default.aspx Not sure how to link. I use this one all the time. :)
  2. 6 yr ds is reading a lot of different things right now. He just finished the Spiderwick Chronicles (all 5 books read in less than 3 days). He is also working through The Lost Years of Merlin (1st book), Dragon's Eye, Harry Potter's 5th book, the Invisible Man (Great Ill. Classics), and several others (I can't keep up with him!). 9 yr ds is re-reading Harry Potter series (currently in book 6), reading Redwall, the newest Spiderwick Chronicles book, and lots of Calvin and Hobbes.
  3. Yes, go to search on the title/menu bar above and click on search. Enter your name and click show posts and you'll come to one of your posts. Then you can easily find yourself and click on your name and do a more comprehensive search. There may be an easier way, but I haven't found it yet.
  4. Hmmm, good question. Maybe going to your profile would be faster? If that works, that is. Another way to find yourself is to click on the search and enter your name. See if that works. I am still playing around trying to find that one out myself.
  5. Click on your name in your post and a drop down menu will come up. You'll see a line that will let you show all your posts. Is that what you are looking for?
  6. I am Melissa, Mom2legomaniacs. I haven't really posted on this board, but am on a couple of the others. My ds's are 6 and 9. Both are working ahead of their grade/age in a couple of areas. One thing I am coming to realize with my little one is that I need to dig deeper to find ways to work with him more. He is an insane little reader. He can read high levels with great ease and speed. He has a deep understanding of what he has read and is extremely intuitive. And I just don't know what to do with that! He has surpassed me in ways already due to abilities that are natural to him that I do not possess. So, I will likely be lurking around and asking a bit from time to time to see what I can do for him.
  7. Getting food. We were supposed to be out of town, but little one fell ill. Now need a plan for cooking this weekend. Also trying to figure out a stoopid crochet pattern. Well, maybe it's me that's stoopid on this one. Supposed to be slippers, but I am stinking at them. I will get them figured out if my fingers fall off from all the crocheting! And just taking it easy.
  8. Yes, dairy stays in your system for about 2 weeks. I found this out nursing my 2nd. It took 4 weeks for all to be right with him. 2 weeks out of mine and another 2 weeks for his to totally clear once I was clear. Good luck! Finding the culprits can be a real puzzler.
  9. They are pretty neat, aren't they. Lots of interesting features and new things to learn! Have fun!
  10. Just doing one more to get out of the visitor's lounge!:D
  11. Could it be that the initial post of a thread must have a title?
  12. it is free. Or you can pay for a premium to have more storage and the like. It is easy to use too.
  13. all you do to support us and in helping us to support each other. These connections have made a huge difference in our schooling and lives. Thanks!
  14. I like it too. Now, no dinner will be fixed due to my trying to figure this out! Hmmm, dh will just have to bring something home!;)
  15. Just trying it out too. I am so slow to figure out how to put in links and stuff.
