      we had owl pellet dissecting today, too! I don't know why ds likes it, but he does. He thinks HomeScienceTools should use owl pellets as packing peanuts when we get a shipment from them....

      That's great! I thought it was cool they dissected it. Not so cool when beloved child put the contents into a can, brought it into his bedroom and knocked it onto the floor. But, anyway :)

    Wrote a few thousand dollars worth of checks to pay off some medical bills, and this is with insurance...oy.

    Arrive at dentist office only to have 13 yr old realize he has no shoes. NO SHOES?! How does this happen? The dentist is 30+ minutes from home.

    Second day back at school, boys got up and right to work. I am amazed. Now to teach them how to make coffee...

      My boys hate the dishwasher too. They do want to learn to make coffee though.

    Wishing I owned a condo in FL so I could go down and see friends with a free place to stay.

    End of Summer festival in our tiny town of 1000 was great fun! Fireworks Finale perfectly viewed from my hammock in the back yard :)

    Water main broke in town, boil order then water actually shut off. Hoping it's going soon so we can use the toilets again!
