  1. My local Target had a bunch of jumpers the other day when I was there. They were basic, solid colors but would look cute with polos or turtlenecks underneath them.
  2. One way to get rid of them is to use toothpaste with baking soda in it.
  3. Since it is two elderly ladies in the car I would worry that they are off the road in the woods somewhere . Has anyone driven the road to the camp and looked for them?
  4. I'm not looking for the exemption, I have no problem sending in the immunization information or the dental information. I'm just unclear as to whether the dental stuff has to be sent with the affidavit prior to 3rd grade or does it go in my portfolio at the conclusion of 3rd grade?
  5. My son is going into 3rd grade, do I need to have the dental form signed and mailed into the school district with my affidavit or does he just need the exam sometime during the school year to put in my portfolio? Thanks!
  6. Thanks for the suggestions....I really don't look forward to the fall, lol...
  7. What are you doing to get your children back into a routine after the summer?
  8. Person 2 is at fault because you should never pass on the the right.
  9. I'm not a coupon blogger but I have friends who are and they make their money through affiliate links such as Escalate, Coupons.com, Logical Media and more. Every time they post a coupon on their site and that coupon is printed they make money....some make BIG money. ETA: I voted yes, but I don't make a ton of money. My blog is not homeschool related.
  10. Thanks. When you say you watched three kids and fed them do you mean you charged $20 per child or $20 for all three?
  11. Can anyone recommend a science curriculum for me to use with my kids( ages 9 and under) this upcoming year that focuses on animals? My daughter is animal obsessed...thanks!
  12. For those of you who watch a child in your home, how much do you charge per day? Thanks!
  13. Ironically, I had just finished reading an email about how Bella Santorum will be celebrating her 4th birthday this weekend, having defied the odds after being born with Trisomy 18, when I clicked over here and saw this post. Thank you for sharing this beautiful blog, do you know the family personally?
  14. TRuthfully I wouldn't worry about it although I know that is easier said than done. With my 5th baby(now 6 weeks old:D ) I had an appointment at noon, was told I was 1cm and not thinning at all, went home, cleaned, made dinner, gave the other 4 baths and had the baby just before midnight. So the fact that the baby is high means very little imo. Hang in there, tonight just might be your night! ETA:forgot to mention that I was 41 weeks as well and they were talking induction with me as well. I told them I wouldn't even consider it until I was 42+ weeks.
  15. I agree with the Bloch tights, they are great and hold up VERY well! Another suggestion is Gymboree, they don't hold up as well but they are still good quality.
  16. Okay,I'm confused:confused: didn't you say you haven't talked to her in two years? If so, why are you assuming that mentally she is the same and that everything in her life is the same? And you said your dad said her condo was bare, but he's been dead for over 3 years? Maybe things have changed in her life that you are unaware of....you are talking about an 80+ year old person...
  17. For those of you who had gallbladder issues after having a baby, can you please describe to me what your pain felt like? Thanks!
  18. Can someone fill me in on the thread and who got banned? I missed it too...
  19. I think too that people are forgetting that the father was trying to take the baby out, so even if he signed the baby out AMA the mother was still in the hospital bed. Can fathers sign their babies out AMA?
  20. When you went in November, were there a lot of rides closed? And how late did the park stay open?
  21. If i was planning a trip should I plan for early June or late November/early December? Any thoughts? Thanks!
  22. I vote Tennis. Tennis a a physical activity that can be enjoyed for life and you can always find a willing tennis partner to play against.
  23. I haven't read all of the replies but I know that when I had my babies you were not even allowed to walk out of the room in the hall with the baby unless it was in a bassinet. It had to do with they didn't want you to fall with the baby. However, I think the deeper issue here is the overwhelming attitude of entitlement and abusive nature of the Kennedy's to women in general. No matter what, those nurses were doing their job....
