  1. I learned mascara goes on the outer 2/3 of your top eyelashes and the outer 1/3 of your bottom lashes. Same with eyeliner.
  2. I think morestarfall.com has math. I am :bigear: for other ideas though!
  3. What a fun thread! I am just starting out as well, here's my post: http://oureducationalescapades.wordpress.com/2011/07/28/why-we-are-homeschooling/
  4. We have the glass doors and it is great for splashing kids. I hate having to clean it though.
  5. Battery Operated Crayon Sharpener FIAR Vol 1 Lit package Geometric Solids
  6. My Target has them with lines on both sides too. I love the dollar spot!
  7. Yay! I've had fast shipping time in the past, but this time one of my items is backordered :( I'm hoping for box day early next week.
  8. I am ready to wean DD too. We are down to 3 times a day: bedtime, naptime, and when she wakes up in the morning. She is NOT going to be happy with me. I agree to try night weaning first. That wasn't fun, but helped me feel a lot better.
  9. I ordered the large chalkboard with double lines. DS is already pretty good with upper case letters, but he needs more practice with lowercase. And chalk, of course. Also, just to let you know, I ordered last week and the level A starter kit is on backorder.
  10. Oh no, why did you have to tell me they have weighted bears! :tongue_smilie:
  11. I'm going to order the RightStart A starter kit and just add the extra items that I want from the deluxe package. I think the geometric solids are only used in one lesson, so I don't know if it's worth it to buy them or not. What else can I do with them?
  12. The plastic fraction puzzle has 1/12 instead of 1/7 and 1/9 which I like, since you don't often need to divide something into sevenths. Although the wooden one would be nicer. I'll add it to my list :)
  13. I got an Amazon gift card for my birthday and was looking at these: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003Z6HSL0/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002LYD2M6/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?ie=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER I put them in my cart yesterday and when I looked at them again this morning the price had gone down on both. It's like Amazon wants me to buy them! Other things on my wish list: http://www.amazon.com/Learning-Resources-Baby-Bear-Balance/dp/B000P7MALK/ref=wl_it_dp_o?ie=UTF8&coliid=I2X9AJBKOYZR98&colid=2XI2VTZ25J5MA http://www.amazon.com/GeoToys-106-World-GeoPuzzle/dp/B003F1E7K0/ref=wl_it_dp_o?ie=UTF8&coliid=IILUAIS99Z1CI&colid=2XI2VTZ25J5MA http://www.amazon.com/Valtech-Co-2300-Magna-tiles-Piece/dp/B000CBR4X8/ref=wl_it_dp_o?ie=UTF8&coliid=I1VYWIDJPPSXQ&colid=2XI2VTZ25J5MA I'm interested to hear what everyone else would get too!

  15. My grandma has a cabin near Yellowstone and on her last letter she noted that the low temperature that day was 34 degrees. I would bring coats.
  16. Me too! Also, a paper trimmer because I am tired of using scissors all the time.
  17. Shampoo and conditioner. Both hospitals I delivered at only had really cheap shampoo.
  18. I vote for 5 Children and It. (OK, it's the only one I've read, but I loved it and read it several times as a child.)
