I am hanging in there. Mourning the death of my oldest son.
It comes and goes, doesn't it? But it never goes very far.

Two weeks to my oldest daughter's wedding. Two days until my first grandchild turns 9 months. About two months until the youngest graduates high school. And ten months since we got the news my oldest and only son died. I am a bundle of emotions.
That's a lot going on.

I can't work out which kind mine is. It's one of the 36 species that resides in my state. That's all I know!

Australian slang is good for you. :D
The last dead sparrow around here got suffocated in the laundry basket. Why was it there?
It got trapped in their feed box, so they ate it!
Marek's tree has about a dozen apples growing!
Dunno. If we get them (it's planted an hour away) I thought we could eat them and leave the cores in someone's couch. :p

Lol. Dd was teaching her uncle about Sun and Moon letters in Arabic last night. Not that she gets them 100% right herself. :p

Really don't like Emma. Looking forward to finishing it so that I can resume Exodus.
Harriet is so honoured by the attention. I suppose to us it would be the equivalent of a celebrity we hero-worship wanting to be friends with us.

Jane Austen's Emma? We finished listening to the audiobook today. I still don't like her. But I still love Mr Knightley.
Who uses words like "adumbrated?"
I didn't know "promulgated" was a word either!
Phone spam is boring. Where are my Koreans?
You know, Chris, I have no idea what Koreans spam about. I wonder if I can cut and paste into Google Translate?
Rereading old posts--thanks for all the prayers and good thoughts over the years. Just saw a picture of ds with his little daughter and thought, what a long road to a joyful place.

Things are just going from bad to worse in Venezuela. The main brewery stopped production today and the hydro plant will have to shut down if the rains don't start on time.
Wow. You lot know how to do droughts properly. :(

My youngest turned 18 yesterday. How did that happen!
There's a bald eagle hanging out in our yard.
That's cool! We've had crimson rosellas hanging in ours.
