  1. Definitely! It would be disgusting to sleep on sheets that weren't clean and weren't mine! Susan
  2. Probably every 3 weeks:glare: If I had a maid, I'd do it weekly.:) Susan
  3. Old Navy & Target have great sales. My daughter loves Justice & Aeropostale too, but I'll be honest with you, we don't actually shop there. My mom shops for my daughter there though:) I find those a little more expensive than my thin wallet can afford, lol Susan
  4. Assuming they are hard tacos, I voted taco salad!:D Susan
  5. I wouldn't care if people thought I was a troll. I rarely start my own threads here ...well, unless it is about curriculum (or something else not too serious). The majority of my replies have to do with curriculum, but I do enjoy some of the random topics that take place on the general forum. I also have fallen into the trap of opening threads about religion. Every time I do, I swear I will never do it again...yet, I find my self doing it again, lol. I don't really share much personal information about myself here. I will ask the occasional question that is non-homeschool related if I need clarity, insight, or just perspective. I don't have a blog. I don't share pictures online of my family. I don't say their names. It doesn't make me less real, just more private. I do like the freedom to speak without fear online though. In real life, I could never engage in many of the topics discussed here so freely. It's great to type what I think & have people type what they think. Some threads can get heated, but usually the tone remains polite even when diverse. I love that. Although I don't have "friends" here, I have a huge sense of community. I value all that I learn here, and believe me, I learn A LOT daily. Susan
  6. :iagree: I open a lot of threads, but one poster comes to mind that tends to gravitate to being a drama mama. I ignore her threads (although she isn't literally on my ignore list - I don't have one of those). Susan
  7. MSM (pure sulfur) and Vitamin C. Make sure the MSM is pure, not just crappy store bought stuff (I like puremsm.com but there are many choices). Dosage is 500 mg 2x day of MSM 500 mg 2x a day of Vitamin C Susan
  8. This is indeed the longest thread that I have ever participated in and actullay read from beginning to end:D Susan
  9. That's not funny, but oh gosh - it is so funny!! She stole napkins?? What a total nut job. Audrey, I don't drink. But my goodness, if you do drink, please go have one right now. You deserve it. Susan
  10. What in the world! You should have titled this thread, "I went to the Twilight Zone tonight!". What a bizarre experience. Don't feel bad, Audrey:grouphug: She is an ungrateful, very rude, unkind woman! You opened your home with a warm heart and hospitality. Her behavior was absolutely unacceptable (truly, from beginning to end, totally unacceptable!).:grouphug: Susan
  11. I'd really have a one-on-one talk with an analogy of how words cut deep and can't really be taken back once they're said (use toothpaste perhaps and squeeze it out, showing her that you can't put it back in...explain that words are the same way). There is a golden rule, "Treat others how you want to be treated". I doubt she herself could take it emotionally the same that she is dishing out to you. Honestly, it hurt my feelings just reading your post. I'm sure your haircut is beautiful & who cares if you're one size up! :grouphug: We have all been there. Lastly, talk to your husband. I know he is just poking fun and it doesn't bother you at all, but she is still learning that behavior from him so I would address it until this blows over. Susan
  12. I've got to be honest, I am not LDS whatsoever, but I can tell you in my area the Mormons never have made me feel bad about not being LDS. They are the most humble, gentle, servant hearted people of any organized religion I have ever come across. Arrogance is really the last adjective I would use to describe them. I'm sorry your area provides a different experience. You should move here:D I do hope you find resolve in this. Susan
  13. I'm not going to pretend to have strong feelings about him, as I'm not even familiar with his impact. Regardless, you feel a little sad, so very BIG:grouphug: Susan
  14. It's not showing up for me at all:confused::confused: Can you possibly link it so I can add it to my queue?? I'm looking in my search engine and it only pulls up season 1 for some reason?? Susan
  15. Yes. I saw that. I'm so mad at myself! I am going to watch Great Expectations tomorrow though! That looks great! :D Susan
  16. I must be a ding dong. I don't see Downtown Abbey Season 2 on netflix at all:confused: Susan
  17. PLEASE is there anywhere I can watch this online for free? I'm dying to see Season 2 but can't find it! Agh!!! Dying here! Susan
