  1. Just wanted to pop in & say hello! :seeya:

  2. Love the cartoon in your siggy!!!

Hmmm. Fire drills. We haven't done those yet. May need to plan one this week.... ;)

  3. Your sig graphic is too funny! :thumbup1:

  4. I always enjoy reading your book comments & reviews in the weekly book thread & on your blog. :001_smile:

  5. Oh, I am so w/ you on the problems w/ Twilight!!!

Have you seen this? I so totally agree w/ what they're saying & I certainly enjoyed the Buffy the Vampire Slayer vs. Edward video, lol.

  6. Of course my ds was taught by his new friends at the age of six without training wheels. It reached the point where I banned his riding until I got more band-aids. It seemed that part of the training included riding down 4-7 concrete steps. :w00t: :svengo:

I just had to say thanks for the chuckle today. (Not that I'm laughing about your ds getting hurt, but rather that his friends take him through such rigorous training, lol!!) Guess he's ready for most anything he'll face on a bike, huh?

  7. Just had to say hello because I like your Diet Coke avatar, lol. :seeya:

    (Yes, I'm a Diet Coke junkie.) :D

  8. Keeping you in good & hopeful thoughts re: your dh's job loss. :grouphug:

  9. As usual, I've enjoyed another one of your posts again -- this time, the tai chi one.

Wish I could make it to your yoga class because I like the way you explain things, lol. I've never tried yoga (or tai chi), but am interested in trying it.... Any pointers or tips for a complete newbie to it all to find a teacher or learn more?

    Thanks!

  10. Thanks for the Glencoe Lit link! It looks great. :001_smile:

  11. Thanks for the mention of Jim Trelease's "Read-Aloud Handbook" in a recent post. I picked up a copy from the library & am in the middle of reading it. What a fantastic resource. I'm so glad you posted about it! :001_smile:

  12. Figured I would pop in & say hi!

    :seeya:

  13. Hope you like the new art/music program!

  14. Thanks for mentioning "The Sparrow" in one of the book threads. I picked it up from the library the other day & am really liking it so far!

  15. :seeya: Just stopping by with a random 'hi'!

  16. Love your avatar! Is that your cat? Beautiful.

  17. Oh, and btw, your haircut in your photo is great! I had short hair for a long time, but now have it a bit longer (still short by many standards, lol). But, seeing your pic makes me want to go back to short hair again!

  18. Thanks for the historical fiction links! I'll have to go start a library list now. :001_smile:

  19. Thanks for the knee advice. I'm planning to go see a dr. about it because of all the good advice I've received. Yikes about your dh's knee -- that's no fun to have residual pain for the long term. :-/

  20. Sending good thoughts and wishes to you.

    Peace to you, friend.

  21. Love the cat lampshade story, lol!!! I can certainly picture it.

  22. Had to lol at your sig line quote. It serves as a good reminder.

    Live long & prosper. :001_smile:

  23. Wow. I loved your fascinating & thoughtful post about Dr. Hiroshi Motoyama & your beliefs in general. In my eyes, your post was very uplifting and delightful to ponder. Thanks! Stacia

  24. Thanks for the copybook download! Congrats on your newest family member too. :001_smile:
