My girls and I will be in the car a lot this next year. I'm looking for suggestions for books to listen to in the car and videos to watch. I'm currently reading Winnie the Pooh to them and they love it. They also like Bad Kitty, Princess in Black, and BabyMouse. I would like to keep the audiobooks more quality literature. Educational videos they like are Magic School Bus, Bill Nye, Ancient Civilatilns, Where In the World is Carmen SanDiego, and movies similar to that. They both atten PS school and don't spend much time on history or science. I will probably get SOTW to listen to in the car. They also like VeggieTale and Adventures in Odyssey stories. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Poetry Speaks to Children, though the recording quality varies because many of them are old.

Andrew Pudewa's collection.  IEW Linguistic Development Through Poetry Memorization

Naxos Favourite Poems for Children, Classic Poems for Boys, Classic Poems for Girls

Jack Prelutsky for nonsense and silly poems - our library has many audios

I wish someone would make recordings of Caroline Kennedy's poem books, we like those.
