Susan C.
I made two turkeys last year and froze quite a bit. I wasn't happy with the flavor. I did use it up in casseroles, but won't be doing it again.
VaKim
I freeze cooked turkey and chicken all the time and have no problem with the flavor after.
marbel
I also freeze it. I wrap it in smallish portions in plastic wrap, then in freezer bags. It works great.
Chris in VA
I freeze it with gravy, if there's any left. Seems to help the consistency and flavor.
SparklyUnicorn
Yep. My leftovers never last long enough though.
umsami
Yes, we do this with Rotisserie chicken too. Take it off the bone, and freeze it in freezer bags. I'd probably use it within a month or so. Have never frozen any for longer, so I don't know how long it's good for. We also freeze the Turkey carcass if we're not going to make soup right away. This is my favorite recipe for post-Thanksgiving Turkey soup. :) We use frozen mixed veggies for the vegetables.
