katalaska
Anyone have suggestions? I've been browsing at Amazon looking for audio CDs of Shakespeare aimed at grammar/logic stage kids. Anyone have a favorite they could recommend? TIA

skaterbabs
My local library has Lamb's Shakespeare on audiobook (CD). You might want to check yours.
Aunty Social
http://www.amazon.com/Shakespeare-Children-Jim-Weiss/dp/1882513401 :iagree: My kids LOVE this cd. If I need it for school, I have to hide it so that it doesn't migrate to someone's room!
JenniferB
http://www.greathall.com/products/1124-015.html Read by Jim Weiss, the same man who narrates Story of the World CDs. My daughter listened to this OVER AND OVER AND OVER, and now she is a Shakespeare lover. I attribute it to listening to this CD. :D oops this is the same as the Amazon link someone else posted. Sorry! Well, you can also look at the Greathall Productions website, because we love everything we have ever heard from this company. daisychics
Never listened to the Jim Weiss one - I'm gonna see if my library has that. We have listened to Bruce Coville's version. I like it because it was read by a full cast. Good luck. http://www.audible.com/adbl/site/entry/offers/partnerPromotions.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=Yes&productID=PF_FCAU_000011

Jami
http://www.opentexture.com/products/littlebird/shakespeare.aspx :iagree: My kids LOVE the Open Texture Shakespeare retellings. They're based on E. Nesbit's Beautiful Stories from Shakespeare and the reader reminds me of Kenneth Brannagh! Can't go wrong with that. :D
