  1. Let me start by saying, my son loves Math U See. He started with Primer and is on Algebra right now. :) I just wanted to see if there are other moms with kiddos that was okay with MUS Geometry. We are moving slowly through MUS Algebra because of me and not my son (9th grade). We are probably gonna finish it over the summer. I was planning on ordering it soon. Thank you!
  2. I have the Christian Liberty Nature Reader 1-5 that I'm about to sell, if you're interested.
  3. Hi, It's the first time I'll be using A History of US by Joy Hakim and would like to know if I need to order the Teacher's guide, student guide and the assessment book for my 9th grader. I need a lot of hand-holding when it comes to teaching history. :) Thank you, Cecilia
  4. She loved reading Journey of Edward Tulane (loved loved this book), Charlotte's Web, Tale of Despereaux and she is starting 39 Clues (her big bro's idea). Oh! She also adores Nancy Clancy and the Nancy Drew and the Clue Crew (Nancy is 8 years old) books. Thank you!
  5. So far, I'm leaning towards the 14 cup, the BedBath store has it in stock. I'm gonna check it out tomorrow. :)
  6. Yes, I will go to BBB tomorrow, they have the one I want from Amazon for $179 and I can use my 20 % off if I like it. That's $30 off!
  7. I know! The blade storage is what caught my eye, plus the cheaper price. ack! I'm glad you didn't have to buy a new one. :)
  8. They actually have that too (diff size bowls) but it's too expensive for me. http://www.amazon.com/Cuisinart-FP-14DC-Collection-14-Cup-Processor/dp/B002I5DMU0/ref=dp_ob_title_kitchen
  9. That's great to hear! I do keep going back to the first one (on Amazon). I like the push down thingy to turn in on rather than the push button on the newer model.
  10. I want to shred cheese on it like Ina Garten, make pizza dough (Tyler Florence), make lemon flovored lara bars... I can't wait to get my hands on it. It's a big buy for us so I want to make sure I get the *right* one.
  11. I received money to buy Cuisinart Food Processor for my bday! yay! I've been saving for this one on Amazon, it was $179 but went down to $175 (looks like the one Ina Garten uses) http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000645TW/ref=s9_simh_gw_p79_d0_i1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=0NREBHC2K0PDZ61XY9PY&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=1389517282&pf_rd_i=507846 Then, we saw this one at Costco: http://www.costco.com/Cuisinart-Prep-11-Plus%E2%84%A2-11-Cup-Food-Processor-With-Blade-Storage.product.11761886.html#BVRRWidgetID This is going to be my first food processor and I want to make the right decision. Whaddaya think?
  12. Apparently my son did not get the November/December 2011 Lego Club Magazine. He really wants to read the Star Wars comic and the Alien Conquest Comic that were in the issue. Can anyone help me find a copy? :) Even just pictures or pdf. so he can read it. Thanks!!
  13. Wow! You ladies are amazing!! Great tips! Now, off to look for a place to stay before and after cruise. haha. Also, looking into insuremytrip. com
  14. Ooops! $500-ish/adult on the 4 day cruise in May. Dh and I are using your $100/pp/day as a guide so thank you for that. We have never been on any kind of cruise and have been dreaming about the Disney cruise since we got married (15 a years ago). I know the kids would L.O.V.E it! I was told by a friend that we should we get airplane tickets through Disney. She said if our flights were changed/cancelled, we would be covered. Is this good advice?
  15. When is the cheapest? I forgot to ask about that, haha. Is $500/per adult pretty good price or can I find it lower than that? Thank you! I can't focus on school looking all this stuff up but you guys are helping me soooooo much!
